What Is Feed The Hungry?
Feed The Hungry is a humanitarian outreach of Daily Rosary Family Foundation, a registered non-profit Catholic organisation based in Abuja, Nigeria. Through this initiative, we provide freshly cooked meals and food packs to hungry women, children, widows, the elderly, and struggling families in poor communities and on the streets of Abuja.
Inspired by the Gospel and our call to works of mercy, we believe that no one should go to bed hungry, especially mothers and children. Every meal we serve is an act of love, a sign of hope, and a reminder that God has not forgotten His people.
Why We Feed the Hungry
Every day, many families in Abuja struggle to afford even one decent meal.
Some mothers skip meals so their children can eat. Some children wander the streets searching for scraps. Widows and the elderly are often forgotten and left to fend for themselves.
Through Feed The Hungry, we:
Reach out to women and children in extreme hunger
Support widows, orphans, and the elderly with food relief
Bring comfort, dignity, and encouragement to families in crisis
Show the love of Jesus and the compassion of the Blessed Virgin Mary in a practical, visible way

Where We Serve
Our feeding outreaches currently cover:
- Street corners and informal settlements in Abuja
- Slum communities and roadside markets
- Selected hospitals and mother-and-child areas
- Neighbourhoods where widows, orphans, and the elderly are in need
As support grows, we plan to reach more communities, organise regular feeding days, and combine food outreach with skill acquisition and empowerment for women and youths.

Daily Rosary Family Foundation is a registered not-for-profit, non-political organisation in Nigeria. Our mission includes:
- Empowering youths and women through training, seminars, and skill acquisition
- Assisting orphans, widows, and the elderly in society
- Raising a generation of young people prepared for positive global impact
- Living out the Gospel through works of mercy and devotion to Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary
